On the morning of September 16, 2019, the foundation-laying ceremony for the opening of 1580m3 blast furnace of Ningxia Steel, which was undertaken by Beijing Shougang International Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., was held.
It is understood that the construction of 1,580m3 of ironmaking blast furnace of Ningxia Steel is expected to be completed by the end of August 2020, with a total investment of 568 million yuan. The construction of the new project will upgrade the existing two 600m3 blast furnace.
