2019 National Scrap Metal Conference was held in Fuzhou, Fujian Province on Nov. 28. Li Li, senior inspector of the Energy Conservation Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of People’s Republic of China (MIIT), emphasized that we must attach great importance to the comprehensive utilization of scrap, actively promote the sustainable development of the scrap processing industry, accelerate layouts, further increase the industrial concentration, focus on cultivating key enterprises, upgrade equipment and core technology, and analysis on industrial policies that are conducive to the large-scale and high-value scrap utilization, to accelerate the high-quality development.
