In mid-March, 2020, the National Bureau of Statistics announced China’s raw coal output by province from January to February, 2020.
Data shows that raw coal production in January and February, 2020 was 489.03 million tons, down 6.3% year on year. From January to February, the daily output throughout China averaged 8.15 million tons, down 2.55 million tons from last December.
During the January and February, Shanxi province, Shaanxi province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous region produced 337.243 million tons of raw coal, accounting for 68.96% of the total.
