In just a decade, the throughput
of Tangshan Port ranks third in the world, becoming China’s largest port
for loading and unloading imported iron ore, China’s largest steel
export port, as well as a key base and reserve center of imported oil
and gas in China.
In 2019, the cargo throughput in
Tangshan port reached 657 million tons, and the the container throughput
amounted to 2.934 million TEUs, which was 2.67 times and 10.64 times of
2010 respectively.
Currently, there are 137
productive berths in Tangshan port, of which 71 berths are open to
overseas market. Its routes have reached more than 190 ports in more
than 70 countries and regions, and achieved full coverage of Japan’s,
South Korea’s as well as China’s ports. |
