According to the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), in June 2020, the US imported a total of around 153,000 tons of hot-dip galvanized sheet and strip (HDG), increasing by 23.3% compared to May, but down by 5.4% year on year.
In terms of value, the total import value in June was roughly US$138 million, compared to US$110.4 million in the previous month.
Among them, the main source of the US' HDG imports was Canada, with around 66,200 tons, and other sources included Taiwan, Mexico, South Africa, and Australia.
