Summary of speeches

1. Grasp the operation and management of enterprises under the epidemic situation. At present, the global economy is facing great depression due to the spread of COVID-19. We need to do a good job in operation and management in the face of great uncertainty. The economy situation in China in the first half of this year was still severe, but under the strong control of the CPC Central Committee, the epidemic situation was basically under control, and a number of pro-business policies were introduced to help enterprises out of difficulties.

2. In the first six months of this year, the performance of Chinese steel industry far exceeded expectation. Instead of decreasing, crude steel output increased, meeting the demand of Chinese domestic market. The crude steel output in the country increased year over year in H1 2020. Although Chinese steel industry suffered profit loss due to the COVID-19, partial steel mills still achieved profit growth.

3. How will the Chinese special steel industry develop in the future? Liu He, Vice Premier pointed out that a new pattern of double-cycle development with domestic circulation as the main and mutual promotion between the international and the domestic is taking shape. The special steel industry must seize the opportunity.
