The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) set the final anti-dumping (AD) duty rate to zero on hot-rolled steel flat products (hot-rolled steel) from Japan because the mandatory defendants, Nippon Steel and Tokyo Steel, didn't export the mentioned product to the US at prices lower than the fair value during the review period from October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2018.
According to the ruling, the final dumping margin of the two companies and other Japanese manufacturers and exporters is zero.
The final AD rate on hot-rolled steels from Japan in June 2019 was set at 2.06%-7.64% in the previous review.
