The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) of India recommended extending the existing anti-dumping (AD) duties on stainless steel hot-rolled flat products of 304 grade imports from China, Malaysia, and South Korea for another five years.
The duty rate for China was set at US$160/ton, Malaysia was at US$155/ton, and South Korea will be subject to US$255/ton.
According to the final ruling of the review investigation made by DGTR, the withdrawal of the existing AD order on the products involved might lead to the continuation or reoccurrence of injury on the Indian market again.
