The average price of China
domestic-produced iron ore concentrates at 14 main markets in China was
938 yuan/t on October 12, down by 1 yuan/t from the previous trading
day. It is expected that prices of China domestic-produced iron ore
concentrates may keep stable in the near term.
Imported Iron Ore: the seaborne
price remained broadly stable on Monday.
Overseas iron ore price from
SteelHome: 61%-Fe PB fines was 121.5-122.5 dollars/t (CIF); 65%-Fe IOCJ
was 134-135 dollars/t (CIF); 58%-Fe Yandi fines was 114-115 dollars/t
(CIF), flat from the prior trading day.
At ports, the spot price for
imported iron ore kept roughly stable on Monday.

According to SteelHome survey,
mills purchased iron ore mainly as their needs. In order to improve cash
flows, traders were active in sales.

ore prices would be observe rangebound movements in the short run.
