According to the report released by Valin Steel, in September, steel products output totaled 2.09 million tons, down 5.43% from August and sales volume attained 2.1 million tons, down 7.08% from last month. Iron output was up 0.57%cfrom the previous month to 1.77 million tons and crude steel output was down 0.88% to 2.26 million tons.
During January-September, steel products output totaled 18.46 million tons and sales volume totaled 18.28 million tons. Iron output totaled 15.65 million tons and crude steel output attained 2.26 million tons.
