Daqin rail line achieved a total haulage of 35.13mn t in September 2020, up 3.84% year on year, 2.44% higher than last month, said Daqin Railway Co., Ltd. on October 10.
Shipments in September improved from two derailments in August.
On a month-on-month basis, September saw an increase of 480,000 t or 1.39%.
Daily shipments in September reached 1.171mn t, up 53,000 t from 1.118mn t in August.
Daily running full trains in September registered 83, of which 53.2 trains were heavily loaded with 20,000 t.
Impacted by overhaul and maintenance in Autumn, cumulative shipments in September declined by 10.69% on the year to 33.83mn t, thus a year-on-year growth of 3.84% this time was limited.
