On October 14, price of standard I grade metallurgical coke was
stable at 2000-2030 yuan/t (in cash, picked up by buyers). Price of
transporting goods to ports climbed a little higher than that at ports.
Some traders believed that later coke price will only have limited
growth. Given that price of metallurgical coke at ports was little
higher, they had no intention to purchase when there were no new orders.
Currently, traders mainly deliver spot resources and will not ship
at a low price even in short supply.
FOT price of standard I grade metallurgical coke was 2120-2140
yuan/t (bank acceptance); that of I grade metallurgical coke (CSR65) was
2240 yuan/t.
