During January-September, 2.79 billion tonnes of raw coal was producd, down 0.1% year on year, according to National Bureau of Statistics. September saw 330 million tonnes of raw coal, dipping 0.9% on the year, 0.8% higher than last month. Daily output increased by 530,000 t from last month to 11.04 million tonnes.
On October 9, prices of coal 5500k, 5000k and 4500k were 578 yuan/t, 524 yuan/t and 446 yuan/t respectively, up 29 yuan, 29 yuan and 27 yuan separately from September 4.
From January-September, operating revenue of mining and washing industries reached 1.41492 trillion yuan, falling by 12% from prior year; total profit decreased by 30.1% to 154.4 billion yuan; operating cost dipped by 9.5% on the year to 1.00762 trillion yuan.
In the third quarter, capacity utilization rate of mining and washing industries was 71.2%, dropping 0.3% from the year before; that in the first nine months declined by 1.5% to 68.7%.
