According to reports, Japanese steel producer Nippon Steel announced on November 12th that the domestic spot price of H-beam steel in November would remain unchanged, giving the market a month to deal with the price increase in October's price policy.
Moreover, its subsidiary, Nippon Steel Structural Shapes, also maintained its H-beam prices in November.
Previously, in order to solve the growing cost pressure, Nippon Steel and its subsidiaries raised the price of H-beam steel by JPY 3,000/ton in October. This was the second-price-increase by the steel company since July.
