According to the official statistic from the Taiwanese customs, the total imports of scrap in Taiwan were around 228,700 tons, increased by nearly 16% year on year.
Among them, the main supplied countries were the US and Japan, with around 92,600 tons and 50,000 tons respectively.
Moreover, the total value of the imports of scrap in Taiwan this October was around NT$1.78 billion.
