The Indonesian Anti-dumping Committee made a decision to impose anti-dumping (AD) tariffs on cold-rolled steel sheets from Vietnam after a 16-month-long investigation.
Based upon the information from the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam, the AD duties will be 3.01to 49.2% on cold steel imports from Vietnam. Among them, the duty will be 5.34% for Hoa Sen Group and 3.01% for Ton Dong A Corporation.
The Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam has been informed that the cold-rolled steel sheets imported from Vietnam and China were dumped in Indonesia at lower prices which hurt the domestic industries.
The investigation was initiated in August 2019 and the committee made a preliminary conclusion in July 2020 that they found those products were being dumped.
