The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) has decided to delay the preliminary determination of the countervailing duty (CVD) investigation on oil country tubular goods (OCTG) originating in South Korea and Russia based on petitioners’ request to postpone the ruling issuance since the USDOC hasn’t yet received any questionnaire responses from importers.
Therefore, the deadline of the USDOC’s preliminary ruling issuance was delayed to March 7, 2022 from December 30, 2021.
The CVD investigation was initiated this October, and the period of investigation was from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020.
