During the 13th Five-Year Plan period (2016-2020), Jinneng Holding Group eliminated 57 coal mines with production capacity of 71.51 million tons per year. During the 14th Five-Year Plan and the 15th Five-Year Plan period, 48 resource-exhausted coal mines will be shut down, which is expected to reduce the production capacity of 52.9 million tons per year. In the future, some coal mines with high cost and less profit will be reorganized or closed, which will reduce production capacity of 48.1 million tons per year.
