According to data from Canacero, Mexico's steel industry association, in February, Mexico's wire rod output decreased by 0.5% year on year to about 214,000 tons. Meanwhile, the country's apparent consumption of wire rods increased by 8% year on year to 229,000 tons.
Among them, DeAcero accounted for 51% of Mexico's total wire rod production capacity. The followings were Ternium, ArcelorMittal, TYASA, Grupo Accelerator, and Simec.
