As natural gas consumption is increasing, there are more needs for conveyance.
In the domestic manufacturing field, 9Ni steel for LNG storage tanks and ships has realized “Make in China”, but the research and development of 9Ni steel welding materials developed by domestic scientific research institutions have not been applied to engineering practice, which has led to the serious lag in the research and development of 9Ni steel welding materials and the industrial production. The welding materials for LNG storage tanks are completely dependent on imports.
To change the situation, Pangang Changcheng Special Steel joint with other institutes to develop the 9Ni steel welding materials. After more than a year of technical research, the material was successfully developed.
