Findings:
1. The HRC capacity utilization at 38 Chinese steel mills that
represents 69 production lines was 95.65% in week ending March 7, 2019,
flat from last survey.
2. In terms of production lines, running production lines was 66 out of
total 69, meaning operating rate was 95.65%, flat from last survey.
3. In terms of HRC capacity, running capacity was 231.07 million tons
out of 238.57million tons, making capacity utilization of 96.86%, flat
from last period.
4. HRC daily production for this week was 473,800 tons, down 6,800 tons
or 1.41% from last survey.
