In order to respond the US’s tariff measure that it raised tariff levied
on the bulk of $200 billion of China imports, Customs Tariff Commission
of the State Council said on Monday (13 May 2019) China would increase
tariffs on the bulk of $60 billion of US imports to the three categories
of rate between 10% and 25%. For the rest of the US imports, the duty
rate remains at 5%. The tariff will hit around 5,000 products such as
food, chemicals and auto parts, and are due to take effect on 1 June
2019, commission said.
Among the US imports, there are steel and raw materials which will be
levied duty. The details as following:
