It is reported that according to requirements from the Peruvian government on March 15th, Shougang Hierro Peru S.A.A. will halt production from March 16th, and its mine beneficiation plant will be suspended until March 31st. It is not clear whether it can resume production after April 1st.
Currently, the iron ore shipments are as usual, and the port inventory can maintain shipments until around March 31.
As of March 25, there were 64 newly confirmed cases in Peru. The cumulative number of confirmed cases reached 480 and the number of deaths rose to 21.
