Summary of speeches
The global demand for metallurgical coal is expected to drop
greatly by 30 million tons in 2020. Among them, the demand of Japan,
Taiwan and India has declined significantly. The production demand of
China's steel industry has promoted the demand for metallurgical coal.
Globally, with the outbreak of the pandemic in India, people in the
Indian industrial chain are worried that imports in the second half of
this year will be lower than that of the first half of 2020. However, as
the production of Indian steel mills resumes, India's demand for
metallurgical coke will be V-shaped.
In the second half of this year, the growth of domestic demand for
steel depends on investment in infrastructure. Special bonds are
actively issued. We believe that infrastructure investment may increase
by about 6.2% year-on-year. On the whole, there is still room for
national demand for seaborne coal. |
