According to the official statistic in the US, the total exports of steel scrap from the US last December were around 1.2 million tons, decreased by nearly 19% month on month, and 9% year on year.
Among them, the main destinations were Mexico (270,000 tons), Vietnam (158,000 tons), Turkey (152,000 tons), and Taiwan (109,000 tons).
Moreover, the total exports of steel scrap from the US in the whole year of 2020 were around 16.9 million tons, which decreased by 4.5% year on year.
