Carbon peaking and carbon neutralization is a very complex system
engineering. Carbon peaking and carbon neutralization are not only about
energy conservation and environmental protection, but also about the
right to development and the way of development.
Low carbon development needs to deal with three relationships: the
relationship between development and emission reduction, the
relationship between the whole and the part, and the relationship
between short-term and long-term. It is required that enterprises should
take the lead in implementing carbon peak in areas and industries with
conditions, and the iron and steel industry is one of the industries
with conditions to take the lead in implementing carbon peak.
China's iron and steel industry is leading the green revolution of the
world, China's iron and steel industry, which implements the world’s
most stringent standards. At present, the iron and steel industry has
started the stage of high-quality development. In the future, we will
enter the low-carbon stage of high-quality period.
As for the path of low-carbon development of iron and steel industry,
the first step is to promote green layout, the second step is to save
energy and improve energy efficiency, the third step is to optimize
energy use and process structure, the fourth step is to build a circular
economy industrial chain, the fifth step is to apply breakthrough
low-carbon technology, and the sixth step is to establish system
