According to South Korean media reports, the sales volume of HRC in South Korea from January to April, 2022 was 3.53 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 6.6%; Among them, the sales volume in its domestic market was 2.405 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.8%; Exports were 1.125 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 12.1%.
From January to April, 2022, the total HRC outputs of POSCO and Hyundai, the two major steel mills in South Korea, were 3.435 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 8%.
