According to the notification received by the WTO Committee on Safeguards on May 13, 2022 at the request of the delegation of Indonesia, the Indonesian Safeguard Committee made an affirmative final ruling of the second sunset review on imported I and H sections of other alloy steel, deciding to maintain the safeguard measures for another three years.
The duty rate was 17.00% for the first year, 16.75% for the second year, and 16.50% for the third year. The period of investigation was from May 2017 to April 2020.
The products involved are I-sections with a height or width of 100 mm to 600 mm and H-sections with a height of 100 mm to 350 mm, under HS codes 7228.70.10 and 7228.70.90.
