ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India), a large integrated steel mill in India, announced that it will build its second plant in Hazira this year, which will produce cold-rolled coil, pickling coil, etc., with an annual output of 1.92 million tons and will be put into operation in July 2024. The move will boost AM/NS India's total production capacity to 14 million tons per year.
AM/NS India's current hot rolling plant, located in Hazira, India, has an annual capacity of 8.6 million tons. The plant will supply hot-rolled coil as raw material for the new cold-rolled coil plant.
