According to the statistics of Korea Steel Association, in April 2022, Korea exported 31,493 tons of tinplate, an increase of 25.2% year on year. Among them, 8424 tons were exported to the United States, a year-on-year increase of 122.6%; 7421 tons were exported to the EU, a year-on-year increase of 257.3%; 4452 tons were exported to Indonesia, a year-on-year increase of 17.2%; 1830 tons were exported to Thailand, a year-on-year decrease of 68.9%.
