According to data from Thailand's customs, Thailand's billet imports fell by 32.85% month on month in May, from 350,000 tons in April to 240,000 tons.
Among them, Oman was the main supplier of billets, with a total of 100,000 tons; followed by Japan with a total of 50,000 tons.
From January to May, Thailand’s total imports of billets were 1.22 million tons, down by 19% from 1.5 million tons in the same period last year.
