According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the exports of Turkey's coated flat-rolled products totaled around 60,200 tons in January this year, falling by 12.3% compared to the previous month and by 54% from the same month a year ago.
Among them, the exports of hot-dip galvanized steel coil accounted for approximately 42,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 15.7% and a year-on-year decrease of 52.6%. Romania was the main destination, with imports of 13,200 tons.
During the period, the shipment of pre-painted galvanized flat steel amounted to roughly 12,000 tons, sliding by 44.4% month on month and by 16% year on year. Egypt was the main export destination with 1,800 tons.
