According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey imported roughly 755,000 tons of hot-rolled (HR) coils and plates from January to February. China was the main supplier with about 352,000 tons, followed by Egypt with 154,000 tons, Japan with 81,000 tons, and South Korea with 58,000 tons.
Despite anti-dumping investigations, Turkey's imports of HR flats from China more than doubled year-on-year during this period.
