According to statistics from Horgos Customs, from January to March this year, Port Horgos imported 197,000 tonnes of iron ore products, with a trade volume of 170 million yuan.
Products of iron ore imported by Horgos are mainly iron ore, iron ore concentrate fines and pellets, all of which are produced in Kazakhstan. After being imported, the iron ore products are mainly processed into steel semis, finished steel products, steel frames and other products in Xinjiang, and then sent around the country.
